Position Summary

Under the direction of IPEC’s President-Owner, the Asset Management Sales Engineer works to ensure that new and existing customers receive the highest level of customer service possible via a detailed knowledge of product and service offerings, and a comprehensive asset management strategy. The primary role is to maintain, update, and sell services providing an accurate overview of industrial equipment assets in the field of use.

Essential Functions

• Ensure that new and existing customers receive the sales, engineering, and technical support necessary to meet their needs.
• Ensure cybersecurity best practices in the design and development of web services and database.
• Maintain and update a digital database to track equipment performance, life cycle, maintenance schedules, and application data.
• Promote and sell our Asset Management System to existing customers and prospects.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline equipment data processing, report generation, and system updates.
• Prepare sales quotes, equipment design recommendations, and technical data.
• Facilitate communication between IPEC customers and our suppliers.
• Work in a project management capacity from initial contact to shipping of component parts and equipment.

Skills and Competencies

Read technical schematics; manage digital databases; manage AMRE service report software; demonstrate strong understanding of API and ANSI standards; fluency with cost estimating; proficiency in Oracle NetSuite, HubSpot, Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and web-based software.

Details

Travel/Relocation: Work out of our Macedonia, Ohio facility. Regular travel to supplier/customer sites required.

Position Summary

Assist internal stakeholders with the selling, processing, configuring, maintenance, inventorying, and shipping of industrial equipment. Gain an in-depth understanding of IPEC's history, brand, and industry-leading solutions.

Essential Functions

• Gain a foundational understanding of IPEC’s operations, products, services, and strategic goals.
• Conduct research and provide recommendations for sales, service, engineering, and shipping processes.
• Engage with customers to respond to inquiries and assist with order processing.
• Assist with the creation of sales and service performance reports.
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency with Oracle and HubSpot.

Requirements

1 year or more experience at a four-year college or university. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Position Summary

Address all technical aspects of customer inquiries and identify the ideal pump, compressor, and meter solution or package. Assist with processing orders and coordinate with internal stakeholders for warehousing and shipping.

Essential Functions

• Ensure technical support meets customer needs.
• Prepare sales quotes, design recommendations, and technical data.
• Facilitate communication between customers and suppliers as part of our Authorized Service Center (ASC) team.
• Project management from initial contact to shipping.
• Engage in post-delivery communication to assess performance and troubleshoot issues.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. 3+ years in industrial plant settings or sales of process equipment. Up to 50% travel required.

Position Summary

Disassemble, clean, inspect, and troubleshoot various types/brands of industrial pumps, compressors, and meters. Must understand centrifugal and positive displacement principles, and be able to assemble, test, and prepare equipment for shipping.

Essential Functions

• Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for assembly/disassembly.
• Perform root cause failure analysis (RCA).
• Operate machines and instruments to increase precision of repairs.
• Assist with warehousing, inventory, and LTL shipping/receiving.

Requirements

High school diploma; minimum 5 years maintenance/pump shop experience. Driver's license required; tow motor certification preferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
